I spent years understanding my patterns. Understanding them didn’t stop them.
I spent years understanding my patterns. Understanding them didn’t stop them.
For years I chased results the way I thought I was supposed to; pushing harder, achieving more, overriding every signal my body sent me. I climbed the corporate ladder and owned a personal training studio. I knew exactly what to do. Knowing it didn’t change how I was living.

That gap is what sent me looking. I trained as an iPEC Certified Professional Coach and an NLP practitioner, and while I was health coaching inside a functional medicine program, I found the Enlifted method and started bringing story work into my sessions. My clients started staying longer and getting past blocks that had nothing to do with their wellness plans. So I stopped coaching fitness and nutrition and started coaching mindset for every client in the program.

That’s where Recoding Mindset began. As an Enlifted Verified Level 3 Mindset Coach, I spend as much of my time developing our practitioners as I do in sessions. Every practitioner on this team is trained in the same method, reviewed on real calls, and matched to clients whose season of life they understand.

We’ve coached more than 1,000 clients this way. Whoever you’re matched with, you’re getting the same depth of work.

WHAT I BELIEVE
Four things this work is built on.
Four things this work is built on.
The body holds the pattern, not just the belief.
The body holds the pattern, not just the belief.
Understanding something is not the same as changing it.

Most people need room to get the top layer off before the real story is reachable. Most methods skip that part.

A pattern is not an identity. It was learned, and anything learned can be rewritten.

WHERE THE METHOD COMES FROM
Built on mindset, shaped for each client.
Built on mindset, shaped for each client.
The Recoding Method is how we structure and deliver the combination of mindset and somatic practices that meet each client where they are. It’s the shape the work takes here, and it’s the reason a client gets the same depth with whichever practitioner they're matched with.

THE TEAM
A coach for every pattern.
A coach for every pattern.
Six practitioners, all trained in the same method along with their individual expertise. You’ll be matched with the one best suited to what you’re carrying and the season you’re in. If that match isn’t the right fit, we'll adjust.

Laura Southall
Laura Southall
Mindset Practitioner
Laura came to this work through her own body with an autoimmune diagnosis sixteen years ago, and the mind-body tools that helped her into remission. Later losses pushed her to rebuild again, and today she’s an Enlifted Level 2 Mindset Coach who also leads retreats and workshops for women. She’s warm and direct, listens closely for what sits underneath what a client is saying, and weaves somatic awareness and guided meditation into story work. She works especially well with generational trauma and cycle breaking, grief that was never named, and the emotional and stress side of physical health struggles. Analytical and skeptical clients tend to trust her quickly, and she’s comfortable working with clients from a Christian faith background.
Melissa Curtis
Melissa Curtis
Mindset Practitioner
A former teacher, fitness trainer, and gym owner, Melissa brought a whole-body understanding of wellbeing into her training as an Enlifted Level 2 Mindset Coach. Her approach is somatic, feeling into what’s being thought instead of staying in the head. She helps women feel safe in their bodies again, heal from childhood conditioning, trust their own choices, separate their worth from their productivity, and hold boundaries in their relationships. She’s warm, intuitive, and not afraid to push. A seasoned facilitator of women’s circles and a mother of two, she brings real humor to serious work.
Drea Tapia
Drea Tapia
Mindset Practitioner
Drea has walked through grief many times over the past twenty-four years, and it shaped the kind of practitioner she became. As an Enlifted Verified Level 3 Mindset Coach, she specializes in life transitions, loss, all-or-nothing thinking, and rebuilding self-worth, especially through midlife changes like children leaving home, aging or losing parents, and shifts in body image and identity. She has walked many clients through their trauma stories, and they often tell her they’ve shared things with her they’ve never said out loud before. She’s direct without being pushy, builds trust quickly, and meets clients exactly where they are.
Ashleigh Todd
Ashleigh Todd
Mindset Practitioner
Ashleigh doesn’t do pep talks, she gets curious. And her background makes that curiosity unusually precise. With a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, she listens to the words clients use the way most coaches listen to the story, and often finds the pattern hiding in the phrasing. She’s an Enlifted Verified Level 3 Mindset Coach, as well as a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and certified in Sport and Exercise Nutrition through Precision Nutrition. She specializes in behavior change, self-trust, perfectionism, and all-or-nothing thinking, and works well with high performers, athletes, caregivers, and women in later chapters of life, including clients in their seventies and eighties who’ve decided it isn’t too late.
Crystal Crespo
Crystal Crespo
Mindset Practitioner
Crystal’s work sits where story meets the body. An Enlifted Level 2 Mindset Coach, she brings a trauma-informed approach to helping women separate who they are from the outdated stories they’ve been carrying, and learn to read their feelings as signals instead of something to suppress or apologize for. Her sessions combine reflective questioning, breath, and body awareness, and clients describe them as being held and challenged at the same time. She’s especially suited to women navigating childhood conditioning, complex family dynamics, emotional burnout, and the guilt that comes with finally prioritizing themselves.
